The following websites list a range of grants and scholarships. PREL itself is not a fund-granting agency; however, PREL has established one specific fund, the Pacific Teacher Scholarship Fund.

Hawaii Department of Education

Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program

Scholarships are available for applicants in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia.

Pacific Teacher Scholarship Fund

$500 scholarships are available from Pacific Resources for Education and Learning to eligible residents of the U.S.-affiliated Pacific who are currently enrolled in a teacher preparation program.

Five $1,000 grants and three awards totaling $10,000 are available for educators who integrate the arts into their teaching of children with learning disabilities and other special needs.

Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching
(Sponsored by the White House and administered by the National Science Foundation)

Open to math and science teachers, the competition alternates each year between teachers of grades K-6 and teachers of grades 7-12.

Bureau of Health Professions Scholarship Program

These scholarships are available for students in training to become allopathic physicians, osteopathic physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse midwives. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals.
